Did you know a typical can of soda has 10 teaspoons of sugar? The processed foods in our society, the restaurant foods, the fast foods, are so flooded with sugar and corn syrup, that it would shock you how many calories we consume that is just sugar. (They’re called empty calories because they provide no other nutrition.)
While sugar gives us an immediate boost of energy, our body craves more nutrition, and we end up eating more sugar, and even more calories all day long. Changing your diet can new difficult! We have habits, we need to grab food on the go, and prepping meals takes many hours.
